We love it Wednesday: Paper Wedding Decorations

Who says paper just has be for invitations? I think any of these three finds would make beautiful, and unique wedding decorations! These clean and simple paper accents could either compliment traditional live floral arrangements, or it could even be a wedding decorated entirely with paper! ::sigh::

These colorful and adorable paper flower garlands come from Etsy seller Millalove. I can imagine having these strung all around a outdoor spring wedding. She also makes cupcake toppers and decorative mobiles out of the flowers shown above, which would just be more ways to incorporate her beautiful paper into a wedding!

Amble through Bramble makes these whimsical over grown roses out of double sided German crepe paper. Wouldn't these be amazing center pieces?

Keeping in mind being Eco-friendly, this recycled sewn paper garland made by owners of Nancy, Kate Greiner and Aaron Murray, is the perfect solution. Made from old paper samples and maps it would be a playful and adorable backdrop to a reception, or any type party for that matter!

We Love it Wednesday: Hand-drawn Wedding Certificate

After spending last Friday morning with the ever-so-talented Anna of Rifle Design, we couldn't wait to share these beautiful prints. Take a look at this hand-drawn, completely custom wedding certificate:

I don't know about the rest of you married folks out there, but I can tell you where my marriage certificate is...in the office cabinet, filed under "Marriage & Wedding Papers." It's crinkled, folded, and not even close to being frame-worthy.

Imagine Anna's hand-drawn 18x24 print, framed and hung on the wall in your new nest. The perfect alternative, or addition, to the classic wedding photo on the mantel. Wouldn't this make a great heirloom to hand down to your children and grandchildren? 

Young Wedding Pros: It's Better Together

We ended the week with an inspiring get-together with other young wedding professionals in the Orlando area. We spent the morning getting to know each other, sharing small business advice and enjoying delicious pastries from Davis Bakery & Co.

Anna, from Rifle, graciously shared her adorable new studio space for our gathering.

As an added bonus to our morning Nick from Mama's Sauce gave us a tour of his print shop.

He even took the time to show us the 1940's letterpress in action, and make us our own take home souvenir.

We ended our morning with at stop at Winter Park's Gurtzberry for an early afternoon treat and great conversation!

In my early teenage years, I would daydream about meeting a boy who would profess his love for me by carving our names in a tree trunk. Of course, then I read The Giving Tree — and trees became my friends.

Happy 4th! {from the girls of Orange Blossom Ink}

There's nothing like the 4th of July. 

It's watermelon slices and homemade ice cream, sparklers and s'mores. It's the smell of citronella and the sizzle of the grill, an afternoon swim and an ice cold beer. It's hometown parades and fireworks shows, family traditions and laughter of friends. It's honoring our soldiers and remembering those gone before, reflecting and appreciating being a part of America. Here's to the United States and our 233 years of independence!

We love it Wednesday: Rubber Stamps

There are always questions when it comes to addressing envelopes for our brides' weddings, and after this week's find, I will always have an additional suggestion for them! I found these return address rubber stamps on paperwink yesterday and I can't wait to get one of my very own. I think any one of these clean designs would look beautiful on any invitation envelope, and not to mention, it would be much easier than hand lettering all of the return addresses one by one. Even better, these great little stamps are cost effective, and would be useful after the wedding for all the thank you cards!
